This conceptual tent utilises smart fluids - electro-rheostatic fluid and piezoelectric crystals to facilitate an autonomous pitching ability with the input of a small electrical charge. The power pack runs off lithium ion batteries which are recharged during periods of daylight via external photovoltaic sheeting. The tent was further conceptualised to incorporate electroluminescent strips for night time light provision and tent identification.
